Any ideas?

Using some code formatting helps with readability and finding the issue. Here are some tips about how to format code snippets nicely in Slack: http://tiny.cc/mdcodeblocks http://tiny.cc/slacksnippets

But otherwise, no I've not seen this error... @Jasmin Frangenberg any ideas?
r
I also tried it with the development version on a different computer and got the same error
j
Could you look at the contents of the input files?
within the work directory? I wonder if maybe there is some empty column or something and AMPcombi has not got sufficient input validation...?
r
Good call! Got it, the fasta files had something like:
1 length=3930486 depth=1.00x circular=true
ATGCTTTGGACAGACTGCTTAACTCGCTTGCGACAAGAGCTCTCTGATAACGTCTTTGCGATGTGGATTC G I just replaced it with, for example
example1
ATGCTTTGGACAGACTGCTTAACTCGCTTGCGACAAGAGCTCTCTGATAACGTCTTTGCGATGTGGATTC G and things worked perfectly now.

THank you!!
j
Huh interesting, that is worth a bug report on the ampcombi repo Glad you fixed it!
r
Ok @James Fellows Yates, would you like me to do that?
j
Yes please!
