The last few weeks have been BUSY! I set up a new
blog on the bioAF website to help track all the changes. bioAF now:
• Automates the deployment and configuration of all infrastructure for tracking your metadata, running pipelines, and running Work Nodes (SSH-able Linux VMs) and Notebook sessions (RStudio / Juypter)
• Allows search, install, and update of
any nf-core pipeline directly from the bioAF web interface. Just search for what you want, and click "install"
• Allows running
nf-core pipelines against experiments, samples, and custom files.
• Allows creation of
custom pipelines from any script or program that runs on Linux.
• Connects to any LIMS system using an open integration API for creation, read, and update of projects, experiments, and samples.
• Allows optional connection to an LLM (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) for AI Review of pipeline results or whole experiments.
To install, run 1 command. 12 minutes later, you have a bioAF install running in
your Google Cloud environment. For perspective, I installed this for one client who had spent 6 months with two contractors trying to get similar infrastructure set up on their own. In just over an hour, I had them set up in bioAF, their experiments and samples loaded, and their computational team running pipelines and analyzing results.
