At first, a thought that we have some samples with a strong 5' prime bias in our RNA-seq. But it turns out that my Firefox browser has a funny plot rendering bug that connects the first and last points with a straight line…. 😅

Other plots have the same fancy issue…

Is this for all Plotly plots?

No, I think there are some that look fine or perhaps the line is hidden by the axis? But this was also not meant as a formal bug report - more as a shared laugh over a funny glitch. This report has been created with v1.33 and I do not even know if there is anyone else for whom it looks that way. Maybe it is one plot type from that library, but I would definitively also check the data plotted before you treat that seriously

Just did something that I should have done before: Looked at a different report created with v1.33 and it looks fine. That other report is anyway from a cursed pipeline run / analysis. Since 2 months I have this benchmark dataset on my table and I had to squash like 10 issues along the way including using a custom Nextflow version temporarily, until #7035 had been merged.

Weird!
