Hi all. I suggested a new module
deeptools:bamcompare
. Since i'm a nf-core beginner i asked seqera AI for help to create the module. Most of the code was written on the first try by the AI. Only few errors had to be corrected. How do i give credit to the AI when submitting the module via a pull request? I feel tempted to put into the authors list in
meta.yml

I'm not sure that there's any one right way to do this, but typically you see this kind of attribution show up in commit messages
Copy code
my new feature

Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.6 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
GitHub shows these statements as little extra avatars so you can see that the commit had multiple authors
I have a feeling that if you ask Seqera AI to commit the code for you, it might add an attribution like this automatically. Though I'm not sure if that feature ever made it into production (yet). @Edmund might know?

Hi Phil, yes it shows itself as author. The reviewer of my pull request @Jose Espinosa-Carrasco (thanks for taking the time to review the pull request by the way) was not sure how to mention AI contribution best. Hence i put the question here.
