I am actually a bit confused by your request - I'm wondering if I've missed something

yeah maybe i went down the wrong route haha

I thought that haveing everything in one input channel would gain mor eflexibility on a per sample basis

for example this value channel that decides on whether a certain output is generated or not, I feel like I would at least want the flexibility to decide per sample (for example by a value in the meta map) whether to create or not create the file but maybe I went down the wrong path here

In some cases I think that could make sense, e.g. alignment parameters

But for exporting a different but additional but alternative output file format doesn't make sense to be in a metamap (in my opinion)
