As we are right now converting our pre-nf-core version of mspepid to the nf-core templates, we are also generating some modules. Several of these would probably be useful for the whole community, so we would like to add them to the official nf-core modules as well. Would it be better to move all of them to the modules as soon as our complete pipeline stands, or should we gradually contribute the working modules to nf-core? (I would think the 2nd option sounds better, but rather wanted to ask what's the common way.)

The second
The earlier you get the modules in officially, and present in the pipelien, you will have a MUCH smoother reviewer experience
Because pipeline-level reviewers cna skip reviewing a load of nf-core modules because they will have already been reviewed (and by a bigger pooler of people)
You will have 'grumpy' reviewers if they have to review lots of local modules

🙂 I see. Ok, we will follow this path, thanks.
