We have some mysterious docs which I don't understand
<!subteam^S016E36N7TQ> so I THINK the mysterious docs refer to: https://github.com/refgenie/refgenie_nfcore which appears to be a plugin... But it's not officially mentioned on the refgenie website, and is 5 years siunce being udpated... do we want to still refer to it?
Or I just wipe it
And/or @mashehu do you have the git history who originally wrote this page?

yes! this is from we implemented refgeneie to work with the nf-core pipelines
we have some code for this in tools
and if I am not wrong it should be working

that said, it was never 100% finished, it can't fully replace igenomes

and they were not very responsive, they didn't have resources to dedicate on this, that's why we started working on #C073ZDLNC92

I think it's created in your home directory, so it's per-user

If you have refgenie + nf-core/tools + this plugin installed, yes. I think

Durign the review for docs-v2, I foudn basically no reference to Nextflow nor nf-core on the REfGenie website
And I personally cannot replicate the isntructions, nothing installs properly or works 😅

I checked on #C022LLQSSG1, and there was like 2 messages since beginining of 2024...

They shipped a new release like, 2 weeks ago - first since 2021: https://github.com/refgenie/refgenie/releases
But yeah I think removing the docs is very non-destructive

I don't think we need to worry too much, just clean it up - can re-add it like you say if needed.
