Good morning everyone! This message serves as a kick-off for the #C0ACF0TPF5E While I did not originally plan to coordinate a hackathon project on #C077PUX8DBP due to my own time limitations, there seems to be quite a lot of people interested in contributing. So I will try to guide you guys as much as possible, to ensure you have a good time and that the outcomes can actually be merged into production at some point. My experience shows that early on during the hackathons, newcomers have a lot of general nf-core questions (e.g. how modules need to be structured etc.). Since I don't have much time to answer all of these questions like I usually would, I ask you to use the #CE6SDBX2A, #C043FMKUNLB and the online spaces that are provided for the hackathon. When it comes to questions that are specific to #C077PUX8DBP, you can ping me in this channel or on GitHub, I will try to respond within 1-2 hours as my time permits. Also don't hesitate to look into the existing pipeline code to understand how things work. For the task assignment and progress tracking please use the official hackathon project board. I added some more issues that could be relevant for the hackathon, beyond what is in the hackmd file, as there are more people now. Unfortunately I was not able to figure out how to create an nf-core/scdownstream group on the hackathon board, that's why the issues are currently in the 'Unassigned' group. I think you can still identify them by the repository, but if someone figures that out, it would sure be helpful. For communication please use #C077PUX8DBP as much as possible, as there is also other people interested into the pipeline, and having all the communication in one place makes it easier for me to point them towards the right threads in future discussions. For project assignment I think you can just assign any of the issues you find interesting from the project board to yourself. Let me know if you have any questions
