heads-up: we will soon merge `nextflow lint`<https://github.com/nf-core/modules/pull/10241| as a pre-commit/CI step in the modules directory>.
We updated the guidelines accordingly and also give some quick fixes for common issues: <https://nf-co.re/docs/guidelines/components/modules#general-module-code-formatting>

has anybody seen any problems with the new pre-commit step or is everything going smoothly?

not directly related to it being a pre-commit, but I am still having this issue with getting my module linted. <https://github.com/nf-core/tools/issues/3901>
It being a hook only means I won’t be able to commit any changes to the module now, i guess?

this is `nextflow lint` not `nf-core modules lint`
