Hey guys, I have a bit of an odd question. I have given access to microarray raw data (.idat) but I lack the manifest bpm file to process it and I cannot get help from where I got the data from. It is most likely the Immuno_BeadChip_11419691.bpm but I cannot find the file anywhere -- the illumina support page gives me an ftp link which does not work. Does anyone have an idea how to access the bpm files? Is there a nf-core pipeline that processes microarrays and ships the bpm files ?

There is #C06PZ8FURPW, which is a pipeline for processing methylation arrays.
I've processed a lot of Illumina methylation arrays (and Affymetrix arrays for gene expression before that), but not Immuno ones - I never needed a .bpm file.

Looks like that Illumina FTP server is not responding. I would try to e-mail them (techsupport@illumina.com?), they should be able to fix the server or at least tell you what's going on, and maybe they can send you the correct file by e-mail.

Thanks for your replies. I ended up writing the illumina support which is extremely responsive. I am still trying to solve the issue with them as apparently the data is from a really old chip 😄
If someone else has this problem I can now say emailing the support might be the best solution!
