Hi, I am adapting a local module to include topics. The module calls an R script to execute the functions of a package. In the output, instead of using

versions.yml

, I was defining it like this:

tuple val("${task.process}"), val("bioconductor-updhmm"), eval("Rscript -e \"library(UPDhmm); cat(as.character(packageVersion('UPDhmm')))\""), emit: versions_updhmm, topic: versions

However, when I run the test, I get the following error:

Process output of type 'eval' is only allowed with Bash process scripts -- Current interpreter: /usr/bin/env Rscript

Since this process calls an R template, I believe I should instead define it as:

path "versions.yml", emit: versions, topic: versions

Would this be the correct approach?

Yes, I think we need to keep generating the versions.yml in these cases
