Hello, I recently built workflows for MAJIQ v3 and IRFinder-S for the splicing pipeline of our research group. They could be a nice addition to the nf-core/rnasplice pipeline (we briefly discussed this last year in a thread in the “new-pipelines” channel). I checked the GitHub repository and noticed that it has been a while since the pipeline was last updated. So I wanted to ask first what the current state of the pipeline is and whether any updates are planned. I am new to contributing to nf-core and would appreciate some guidance on how to add the new workflows, especially since both tools are not available on Bioconda. Best, Felix

Hi Felix I'm hardly an expert, also new, but MAJIQ seems to require a license. I would ask in the general help thread to make sure it is compatible, and how nf-core deals with licenses. Also, with regards to software, one question tjhat seems important to ask is "Which parts are duplicated"? For example, glancing at IRFFinder-S paper, it seems that it has a FASTQ mode, which will lead to alignment. Do you have to include the alignment in the IRFFinder, or can you use the regular alignment module? Cheers, Uri David
