Hi. Question on - why
nf-core pipelines lint
or
nf-core modules lint --all
validate the sha content for
<http://main.nf|main.nf>
and
meta.yml
files only? for other files in the module/subworkflow or tests directory within, check for file existence and tags is verified - no content changes. I have modified
main.nf.test
for one of the nf-core modules in our pipeline to check for size of an output variable -- and was under the impression that linting the pipeline or module would fail with an error like 'Local copy does not match remote', but it just passed. Looking at the source code comment and logic here --> https://github.com/nf-core/tools/blob/b478d8a498305ded64c825715a4dad0714c673cc/nf_core/modules/lint/module_changes.py#L18, two files are downloaded and their content compared. Any insights or information or reason behind checking content sha for only those two files?
