Connecting to nearest edge server would give faster response times, less lags. Regulation could be another concern, but for my use case it does not matter. Medtech health teleconsultation apps want the a/v streams to stay inside the region, for ex: India.

Today Cloud automatically connects to the closest edge server. Only in very rare case would it choose a server that's not closest to you

are you working on the last one there Abhisek? Telemedicine apps that want region isolation? Or more a question out of curiosity?
