hello guys, I have created SIP outbound trunk id : ST_zuFUX3yPnpHg and dispatch rule id : SDR_CihCRfuoKNfr, when i tried to CreateSIPParticipantRequest i got response { "message": "Failed to create SIP participant: TwirpError(code=deadline_exceeded, message=twirp error unknown: request timed out, status=408)", "status": "failure" } I want figure out what happing

Best way to debug this sort of issue is to look at your dashboard for that project: https://cloud.livekit.io/projects/p_/telephony Then click on calls and scroll down the call that failed. You should see an error message there that is helpful. For instance in this case I see:
transport<TCP> dial err=dial tcp nnn.nnn.nnn.nnn:5060: connect: connection timed out
Check that the address you entered is correct and that is able to be connected to.

@refined-appointment-81829 my I know how livekit sends SIP INVITE request. Exotel they provided me 4 different ip address
r
> may I know how livekit sends SIP INVITE request. Yes LiveKit will look up the trunk for the phone number/SIP URI then open a connection (for TCP or TLS) then send the invite to the URI specified

  "status": "failure"

hello @refined-appointment-81829 I have contacted Exotel, and they told me to whitelist their Media IPs on the LiveKit server. The IP addresses are listed below:

Great, Did you allow list them?
b
I'm using livekit cloud, how can I allow IP addresses
r
It is a field when you configure your Trunk. See: https://cloud.livekit.io/projects/p_/telephony/trunks Open your Trunk, add the IP addresses
b
I'm using an Outbound trunk, how can I add IP addresses in Outbound trunk there is no field for allwowed_addresses
r
Why do you need an allow list on outbound trunk. In that case LiveKit is originating the data not the SIP provider.
b
@refined-appointment-81829 may I get PCAP file of Call ID : SCL_9jJWyQgGzXyt
r
I do not find a PCAP for that call
