which SDK and version are you using?
g
flutter sdk 1.5.3
d
simulcast layers will specify "additional" encodings.. it will not be able to change the FPS of the highest resolution layer. You should capture at the same FPS that you intend to publish at.
you can also set publish encoding
videoEncoding
like documented here
g
I have set to 1280X720, but it still publish 1920X1080;
Copy code
localVideoTrackFuture = LocalVideoTrack.createScreenShareTrack(
      ScreenShareCaptureOptions(
        params: VideoParameters(
          dimensions: VideoDimensions(1280, 720),
          encoding: const VideoEncoding(
            maxBitrate: 2500 * 1000,
            maxFramerate: 15,
          ),
        ),
        sourceId: sourceId,
        maxFrameRate: 30.0,
      ),
    );

var localVideo = await localVideoTrackFuture!;
        var a = await plasoRoom.room.localParticipant!.publishVideoTrack(
          localVideo,
          publishOptions: const VideoPublishOptions(
            simulcast: false,
            videoCodec: "VP8", //"VP8"
            // screenShareSimulcastLayers: [VideoParametersPresets.screenShareH1080FPS30],
          ),
        );
and there are many mxaFramerate, which one is used?
following constraints {audio: false, video: {width: 1280, height: 720, frameRate: 15, deviceId: {exact: 724049430}, mandatory: {frameRate: 30.0}}}. is transferred to
Copy code
rtc.navigator.mediaDevices.getDisplayMedia(constraints);
but it still pushes 1920X1080 streams out, is it a bug of flutter_webrtc?
d
that's possible.. could you file a bug report in client-sdk-flutter repo? Thanks!
