Wow nice, ok I’ve got one too that’s in the works!

Let me know if you have any questions.

Maybe we can triangulate on this

I had issues getting audio playback to work smoothly under all conditions. It seems like this should be possible even with node, but I ran out of patience to continue on this route, so I’ve switched to golang.

here you go @brief-refrigerator-69901

Also if you have something official I can take that down to avoid any confusion. GPT4 did most of the porting from python. There were just a few tricky parts with getting the native types bridged.
m
Lol…I literally did the exact same process
No need to take anything down, greatly appreciate you contributing and sharing this. 🙏
I see you used node-ffi too, we’ve been thinking about switching to koffi

I’ve had it for a few weeks sorry just hadn’t had the time to clean and push it publicly

(Pls don’t apologize)

The thing was that I couldn’t get smooth audio playback. Even with larger buffer sizes. It may be necessary to offload more buffer handling from the node side to make it possible to do smooth audio playback, so things can be double buffered. Or maybe its how the rust callback into node works since that blocks right now. I had a whole Kitt equivalent working, but couldn’t solve the audio quality.
