We're using a self hosted server, and other clients, web and iOS don't have such issues...
Additional info: 1. Max number of video tracks being rendered on screen at the same time is 8. 2. For tracks that are received but not being rendered on screen I'm calling a method setVideoEnabled(false)

mobile devices have a limit of how many videos they can simultaneously decode and render. how many videos are you showing on screen at a time? Is simulcast enabled (default) during publishing? and what version of the SDK are you using?

Hi @dry-elephant-14928 1. Max number of video tracks rendered on screen at the same time is 8. 2. I'm using client-sdk-android. (using the latest version v1.4.2.) 3. Simulcast is enabled by default on all clients. Internet connection on device is good.

that's quite a bit. try adjusting your UI so it's displaying less tiles on less capable phones.

Thanks for the update @dry-elephant-14928. 🙏 I have one more question: When the adaptiveStream is enabled the sdk automatically adjusts the quality of video tracks, but is there an option to explicitly request for the lowest quality of video tracks?
I've found the option to request the lowest quality of tracks on track publication. Thanks for the help! 🙏
