sounds like your server isn't set up correctly. how are you running it? you can use the connection tester to validate the server setup first: https://livekit.io/connection-test
p
I have livekit-server in docker defined like this in docker-compose:
livekit:
  image: livekit/livekit-server
  volumes:
    - ./docker/livekit.yaml:/livekit.yaml
  entrypoint: "/livekit-server --config /livekit.yaml --bind 0.0.0.0"
  ports:
    - 7880:7880
    - 7881:7881
    - 7882:7882/udp
My livekit.yaml is:
port: 7880
rtc:
    udp_port: 7882
    tcp_port: 7881
    use_external_ip: false
    enable_loopback_candidate: false
keys:
    APIf********XbY: iQUI2g***************aYQCA
logging:
    json: true
    level: debug
Do you see anything suspicious in my setup? I will check the connection tester, thank you!
This is the result of connection test. What is interesting, why TCP / UDP tries to connect to this IP and not localhost? Could this be a problem? I enabled ports in firewall but problem persists.

In order to run via Docker, you either have to pass in the private IP address via
--node-ip <ip>
or enable
use_external_ip
