I run into a problem or more of a bug with media transfer. When my Android user creates and joins the room first and then Iphone user joins as remote, android user’s cannot hear or see anything from iphone user. This only happened a couple of times but i wonder why?

Hey all, We're currently experiencing an issue where Samsung Galaxy S21 Android devices don't seem to be successfully publishing their video tracks for others to see. When connecting to a LiveKit room on S21 devices, video and audio track publications are successfully created, and

PublishListener

objects report the tracks being published successfully, but somehow the LiveKit server never sees this, and other clients can't see the video for the application running on any S21 devices. Audio track publication seems to be working fine however. This also seems to be consistently reproducible. We're using the latest LiveKit SDK releases (0.9.0 on Android, 0.15.5 for server), but we're pretty confident we've seen this issue in previous releases as well. Everything is working perfectly for us on our S20 devices. Video tracks are successfully published, and any other client can successfully see these video streams. It's only S21 devices that seem like they're not publishing their video. Both S20 and S21 devices can see video produced by S20 devices no problem. S21 devices have no problem rendering their own local video track source, so the camera part seems to be working fine. I've attached two separate logs from the LiveKit server, in a test where we connected an S21 device to the room and then an S20 shortly after. For the S21, we only ever see one "mediaTrackAdded" event, for the audio track. Happy to attach any logs from the S21 as well, just need a better idea of what log data to extract out if you need it. From the perspective of the client, the LiveKit SDK only seems to report that track publications have been successful. No obvious failures reported anywhere that I can see.
