    heya, i'm with furqan and abe. been working with furqan since the bebo days (6? yrs ago). i worked on multiple live video projects with furqan in the past and currently working at twitch's mobile broadcasting team. livekit is super interesting! i'm sure furqan told you before but we've talked about similar ideas a long time ago haha

    Is it possible to update someone’s auth while they are connected? Any thoughts placed on roles / permissions (e.g. can someone callin?)

    what we’d like to do is this: 1. user calls in, has view only permission 2. they do some action in our app (call in request) -> get approval -> update their auth token (now has publishing + some metadata: which seat they’re in) 3. they publish to livekit -> events fire with new auth info

    hmm.. currently there isn’t a way to distinguish between publishers/subscribers.. as long as they join with access to the room, they could do whatever they want..

    well our use case is broadcast, so might be 2-6 people on video and 10-1k watching
