It's cool to have a preview for messages with Markdown, but the very first time I added some _styling_ like that I had a feeling that my half-finished message has already been sent. I guess the UI should explicitly differentiate "previews" from "normal" messages. I am thinking about a little "Preview" hint in the top-right corner. BTW having a date next to the "preview" message makes the most confusion to me. That literally indicates that it's just another _sent_ message which is not.

100% agreed :) We were thinking about adding a `Preview` label in the top right corner. Your point about the date makes a lot of sense, so I think it might make sense to just replace the date with a `Preview` label. I'll work on it now and see how it looks like.

I made some changes [here](https://github.com/Linen-dev/linen.dev/pull/1147). I hope this makes the behavior a bit more obvious. Happy to hear other suggestions if you have any!
