When we had the Infisical server running, we successfully ran this CLI command on a client computer: $ infisical run --env=prod --path=/abcdef --projectId=xxxxx -- bash test.sh 2026-06-19T015837-04:00 INF Injecting 3 Infisical secrets into your application process .... We checked and saw data under ~/.infisical/ When we brought down the server and reran the same command, it failed: $ infisical run --env=prod --path=/abcdef --projectId=xxxxx -- bash test.sh error: failed to fetch secrets for path "/abcdef": CallGetRawSecretsV3 Unsuccessful response [GET https://abc.example.com/api/v3/secrets/raw?environment=prod&expandSecretReferences=true&include_imports=true&secretPath=%2Fabcdef&workspaceId=xxxxx] [status-code=503] [request-id=] Could not fetch secrets If you are using a service token to fetch secrets, please ensure it is valid Per Infisical documentation ("Can I fetch secrets with Infisical if I am offline? Yes. If you have previously retrieved secrets for a specific project and environment (such as dev, staging, or prod), the `run`/`secret` command will utilize the saved secrets, even when offline, on subsequent fetch attempts"), we should be able to run the CLI commands in offline mode.
