it is like the url send my htmx does not include any variable &xxx=yyy
  • c
type : my htmx => by htmx
  • m
    Copy code
    html
<button hx-get="/addsettoinv" hx-target="#ret1" hx-vals='{ "bt1": "test1" }'>Go!</button>
  • c
so you believe that because a button, and a div are not form field, then it does not return name and value ?
  • c
Ok I'll give it a shot
  • c

Hello, everyone i have a problem related to pagination in htmx when i search how can i make the pagination remember the parameters that have already search ?
  • s
Another question how can i send parameters in hx-get ?
  • s
how can i save the parameter in the page please help me
  • b
you can send paramters as arguments ... in Djangos JINJA2 syntax it looks like this vor example
    hx-get="{% url 'info' product.product_id forloop.counter %}"
  • s
i am using thymeleaf alpine js and htmx
  • b
i cannot help with JS, but I would think the syntax is similar
  • b
https://htmx.org/server-examples/ here is a gallery of showcases with code ...
  • s
can i save the values in local storage and use it ?
  • b
everything that you can write in a HTML tag can be sent to htmx
  • s
When i first search using the form, the parameters are sent and it display 10 items, for the next page i re need the parameters
  • s
Do you have any idea how can i re get the parameters ?
  • b
as I said, I am not an JS expert or have ever used alpine ... maybe try asking in the java-htmx channel.
  • b
It does not sound undoable 0.o
  • s
    okay thanks

How are people "routing" websocket interactions in their backends? I've been doing things in a pretty ad-hoc way so far, but now thinking I'll just set form
    name
    attributes to
    $VERB $PATH
    (e.g.
    "POST /foo/bar"
), and then pipe them through my existing routing infra

Hi *, is it correct that there is no "select" for the ajax context (see https://htmx.org/api/#ajax). Is this true? Is it an oversight, or a feature?
  • m
@User is right on: you need to enclose your inputs in a form (htmx includes all input values in a non-GET request if there is an enclosing form) or use hx-vals or hx-vars to include the data you want.
  • m
Just like in normal HTML, you would encode the parameters in the pagination links:
    html
  <a href="/contacts?search=foo&order=email&page=2">Next</a>
  • m
how exactly you do that is going to be back end specific

How are people integrating recaptcha into htmx requests?
  • r
    Any recommendations or best practices?
