    The requests do go to a backend but that's independent from htmx, any server that returns html fragments can be used

    htmx doesn't support hyperscript in filter expressions yet, use javascript for now

    i'm guessing they just mean they have changed it to ```` then in the behavior they check if it is an "Enter" keyup event and then trigger "triggeredFromBhvr"

    Hi guys, I have successfully created an infinite scroll gallery page on my website using Django for backend but I also use glightbox.js (pure javascript lightbox library). I would like to trigger an HTMX element from the lightbox when I open the last image so it loads more objects the same way when scrolling down outside the lightbox. The HTMX element looks like this

    How do I trigger it manually from javascript? I tried this

    but it does nothing. When running it in the console, it returns true but no ajax request is called. Why? Thanks

    I've been using https://getcockpit.com and https://github.com/agentejo/Regions with htmx and hypertext for the backend. Super simple. Has NoSQL type collections and Regions can run PHP and return HTML fragments

    You may also want to filter out modifier keys. For instance, shift+enter is often used to force a newline.

    Trying to debug something, any suggestions on what I could look for? 1. Have page with Bootstrap dropdowns (navbar, etc), they work fine. 2. Click a link, dropdown still works 3. Click "back", dropdown stops working. I imagine this has to do with History API / Cache, etc. Is there a workaround?

    Probably the DOM is jacked up when restored. I am planning on adding a 
    hx-no-history-snapshot
    attribute to allow people to opt specific pages out of history. Want to work w/ me on that?

    Interesting. If the dropdown is on a main navbar, though, wouldn't that approach mean that 
    hx-no-history-snapshot
    would have to be applied globally to fix this issue? I'm not sure if the cause, but it might be something as "simple" as needing to re-initialize the dropdowns with bootstrap, which I guess wouldn't really be in the domain of HTMX
