    I think it’s like this: if you live in hit all day long and dream in bash shells, then “of course submodules are easy. You just type 
    git flerf-xyz ooga booga
    and then enter the last four digits of your first born’s social security number.

    For the rest of us (me, anyway) submodules are a mess and might as well not exist 😀

    I am currently working on a form that includes wysiwyg editor fields, like TinyMCE which gets replaced on validation, etc. At first I was adding 
    hx-preserve="true"
    to keep the editor as is after swap, but when htmx removes the original element and then adds it back, things don't work as you'd expect. I am also using Alpine JS so I use that initialize the editor when the htmx node is processed and to remove, then initialize again the editor after swap.     What’s the aim? Last time I looked I ended up using subtrees rather than submodules. Can’t remember why but it worked better for my use case.

    Why do you need to send the event? can't you just let the event bubble up and htmx will see the submit and trigger?

    I think in general we could use a little more documentation/story around how to do client side validation

    I think the problem with that extension is you're defining it AFTER the demo boots, so htmx has alredy processed the dom

    that might be a 1cg question - what's the right way to use the demo to poke at extensions, is there a slot for post load pre ready?

    Today I was helping @User w/ a hyperscript bug where it was saying 
    finally
    wasn't defined on 
    Promise
    but only in a staging environment, worked locally. Turns out BugSnag was redefining Promise and not properly implementing the spec.

    As far as I understand it, this is sort of a full package in that it does server and client. Not really a "challenger" to htmx when it forces you to write even more javascript, just on the backend.
