    Hey all, so I'm working on using htmx to submit a nested form button (i.e.: a button tag like Press, in another form tag. In straight HTML it works great, but htmx seems to ignore the 'form' tag and submits the data from the surrounding form, rather than the specified one. Any way to get htmx to read the tag properly?

    im doing some work on my side project here and if you have a small window (so that the horizontal scrollbar shows) and click 'authors' it scrolls down and hides the top navbar

    To follow up on myself, interestingly, htmx does follow the 
    form
    tag as far as where to submit the data to, but it includes all of the surrounding input tags and not either the button (since it has a 
    name
    set) or the inputs associated with the form directly. Any way to get it not to submit the surrounding 
    input
    tags? If the 
    form
    property is set, 
    htmx
    should ignore inputs not associated with a the surrounding form, no?

    are you triggering on a click on the button or on a submit on the form? ideally you should trigger on a submit on the target form, which should respect the 
    form
    property correctly
