    Well, if you switch to a GET and set 
    hx-push-url
    to true, the value will be included in the url (rather than included as part of the body, as with POST). You don't need to worry about getting it up there and it's all automatic, and works the same as if you have a GET on a form. So htmx is following the normal HTML patterns, as is its general mission. htmx isn't a general template style library, but there are plenty of those if htmx isn't giving you what you want. gotta bounce for work, biafh
