    So it looks like this might be exceptionally easy, and it might be done tonight. Just need to pass the responseText into a DOM node and let the browser figure out what it wants to initialize. At least for FF84, it looks like most of this work is already done for us.

    I'll do some more testing, to ensure that it works correctly on other browsers, too. But this might just be in the bag.

    So, another win for browsers. FF, Chrome, and Safari all preload images seamlessly, but don't load or run scripts or stylesheets. That sounds like a good, safe default. Thoughts?

    hello! I am new to htmx and was wondering if there is a htmx way to do some extra stuff when a href with data-hx-get is clicked? I use it to to navigate through a single page application which works really well but would like to add a css class to the link that was clicked. Is there some sort of callback I can use or should I resort to plain javascript for now?

    Hi @User . If you're coming from Intercooler.js (the predecessor of htmx), then the difference is that there are no longer the 
    ic-action
    type attributes available in htmx core, which allowed you to do client-side/JS stuff on click, for example. The "htmx way" is to either use hyperscript (https://hyperscript.org), the companion project to htmx, or alpine.js/vanilla javascript/whatever else you like. Personally I'm a big fan of using hyperscript with htmx, they fit very well together

    @User yes that would be an option as well. But I also need to remove said class from the other links which requires a bit more code. I now use hyperscript:
