it's kind of an amazing experience esp with dune exec watch mode now, instant restart and you don't even have to worry about losing state in hot reloading. all the state is in the rendered page already. HATEOAS

I'm amused that I get to write a local UI via: - my own http server - my own little html combinators - htmx and it still works pretty nicely…

Hello everyone 😀 I'm very excited about learning htmx and developing my next idea with it. But I couldn't find any products built with it. It would go a long way to reassure me that it is going to be the right direction for my project. Could you share some websites built with htmx? Thanks!

One thing I like about the hypermedia style is how auditable things feel. I can just check by webserver logs to see how and when each component was loaded, how often it gets data, and how users interact with my application.

Thanks! I've seen this list already, and visited the pages it links to. Unfortunately I couldn't find actual products or websites. Afaict these are learning resources only

I'm working on a (very beta) service with a friend that uses HTMX + Hyperscript here and there - https://street-lamp-production.up.railway.app/ It's not the best real world example given that its just a couple instances and we won't be open sourcing the code but it is an actual product(ish)

isn't that a good thing? it means htmx is being used on a commercial, revenue-generating product?

Yes it's a great example I'm sure, just not one I can play with. Thanks for your input. Any other examples are welcome

I should have mentioned in my initial message that the goal is to experiment with the UI to see how it feels compared with an spa

ok. i built a simple note-taking app with it. i haven't built a sign-up process for it yet though so if you want i can manually set you up with an account: https://zettelkit.xyz/

@agreeable-vase-45569 You can play around with this one https://easyspeechy.com - it's free to use. There's kind of two sites. The account you create initially is a speech pathologist account. And from there you can "invite" a client. Client's sign up using the URL that gets emailed to them, and they get a different view to the pathologist when they log in. The client view is probably the more interesting of the two (has more posts/patches etc to the server)

What’s the most killer HTMX app that could be built? Like the HTMX version of building a computer inside Minecraft that plays Tetris

IMO? Something that exhibits a high degree of interactivity. A gmail or facebook or similar.
