    Has anyone implemented https://github.com/gothinkster/realworld/ in htmx/hyperscript? I found https://github.com/harabat/django-htmx but the author says they are rewriting it, so I figured I'd ask about other examples. Even so, it'd be cool to see this on the official examples page! https://htmx.org/server-examples/ 😄

    It did really well quickly and then slowed down a lot. I think we’ve all seen the phenomenon of a post doing incredibly well sitting in the top five, maybe even #1, then getting walloped and sometimes disappearing completely for some users. Yesterday I learned that HN has an “overheated discussion detector” (informally known as flamewar detector) that punishes posts that get a lot of comments. So with this in mind, I wonder if it might make sense for 1cg and this community to give an htmx post an hour or two to build momentum before diving into answer comments / defend it.

    if the validation is done w/ a GET it shouldn't include all the parameters

    (tbh, I doubt it matters: latency is going to be much more significant than bandwidth)

    I will try it with GET. It is just weird to send thousands of words of article content to validate some date.

    @gorgeous-ghost-95789 thank you. I did try hx-on='htmx:load: ...'. The thing that was disappointing about the htmx events was that they only fire on the root of the htmx returned tree (or fragment, not sure on the terminology). Perhaps this is naive / wishful thinking but I was hoping that I could specify all the behavior by targeting the id of the relevant span, which is deep inside a complex htmx response.

    @bitter-machine-55943 my understanding is that you use out-of-band swaps. The first fragment goes into the target. The subsequent fragments target whatever existing node has matching

    But can I do 2 events like this, or what’s the syntax?
