  • I do find it funny that one of the comments on #8 above was like: "this is an old man yells at cloud" and "people like complex JS frameworks" and talk about Stockholm Syndrome. I don't need "constant innovation", either! I program in powerful-enough but typed languages for a reason, don't take my safety away!

  • Found something weird. I have a few htmx/hyper script/bootstrap modal links setup pretty much identical to the bootstrap example. These work fine, the modal code is inserted into the innerHtml as you would expect. Then I have a page that has a modal link coded the same except for the hx-get ( defined during a for loop in template) but this one replaces the div, so outerHtml. Explicitly setting hx-swap to innerHtml fixes it, but it shouldn't behave this way. Using latest htmx and hyperscript.

  • Quick question for the experienced folks. I am trying to use hx-indicator. I have it set to hx-indicator="#htmx-indicator' and then I have a div with an svg embedded with the id "htmx-indicator". I've added custom css to center the image on the page. The problem is that even when it is not visible, it blocks being able to click on a button at the center of the page. How can I remove it from the DOM or place it behind everything else until the htmx request is in flight? thank you!
