    yep
  • t
    should i send it here?
  • w
    no
  • w
    god no
  • t
    lol 👍
  • t
    oh I see now 😅
  • w
    why are you calling render?
  • t
  • w
and where is that above code?
  • t
    in a file?
  • t
not sure what you mean sorry xD
  • w
I've never seen render() called, I guess I'm not very familiar with LDtk
  • t
oh well is there another way to render without using
    render()
? I'm not familiar either, just used it rn
  • i
iirc in LDtk's API, render() turns the layer into a FlxSpriteGroup with each tile being a FlxSprite, and returns that group
  • w
render is a dumb term to use
  • i
    so you can
    add(container)
    and display it that way
  • w
your converting it into something flixel can render
  • i
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ that's what it got called
  • w
I unno what the issue is, sorry
  • w
maybe just download the example and try to modify it rather than recreating it
  • t
    alright
  • t
I think I'll just go back to ogmo or use tiled
  • w
or try downloading the example instead of recreating it
  • i
    @tall-teacher-57409 the
    null access to .frames
is usually because you moved your LDtk file
  • i
it uses relative paths, so if you make the project in a separate folder and then copy it into your flixel project, it can't find the tilesheets any more
  • i
you can fix it by copying the tileset to the same (relative) path, or opening your LDtk project that you moved and re-adding the tileset image as the path is in your flixel project
  • t
oh the tileset wasn't even in my project's directory (how dumb from me)
  • t
    forgot about it
  • t
    thank you will try now
  • t
that's how everything looks (sorry if something's wrong) I get the same error
