05/23/2016, 6:25 PMWould be very easy to just have three variations of that tile. One for the left side, one for the right side, and one for filling everything in-between. - u

05/23/2016, 7:44 PMI have the impression that everything I'm doing is not clean.. - u
user
05/23/2016, 8:04 PMI think that's how learning works, usually. Step 1 is to obtain the objective, step 2 is to do it well. - u
user
05/23/2016, 8:05 PMBut... we can help think of clean ways of coding things if you need a hand at some point! - u
user
05/23/2016, 8:47 PMThe problem is I'm always blocked by step 2.. When I code I always say : If I modularize it I may use it in other programs and so on.. - u
user
05/23/2016, 8:54 PMI have no idea about how to implement quests... - u
user
05/23/2016, 8:54 PM(Store them) - u
user
05/23/2016, 8:56 PMmake each quest an array of bools, and say quest_name[0] would be like the first flag in a certain quest - u
user
05/23/2016, 8:56 PMthen store said quest arrays in a larger array - u
user
05/23/2016, 8:56 PMwell, i think you can store arrays in arrays - u
user
05/23/2016, 8:59 PMx) - u
user
05/23/2016, 8:59 PMAnd then in a array - u
user
05/23/2016, 8:59 PMI just wonder how other games are doing it... - u
user
05/23/2016, 9:00 PMBecause for the ease of writing I thought about writing them in xml or with my own structure and then parse it - u
user
05/23/2016, 9:00 PMBut dunno if going in the right way - u
user
05/23/2016, 9:01 PMjson files would work wonderfully, i'd think - u
