I think some may have low performance for that

you could make a function that automatically creates boarders around the visible map, if that's what you're trying to accomplish

the boarders being flxsprites

or just FlxObjects

flxobjects might work, though last time i tried using them instead of sprites they didnt quite work for collision

that was probably just my shit code though

There's a function

FlxSpriteUtil.bound()

is there?

huh

but only work for rect

FlxObjects work pretty fine for me

I used to create invisible FlxObject for walls

instead of the tilemap right now

i see

@User maybe you forgot to set the immovable values?

I didn't

nah i'm pretty sure i set the objects to immovable, it was a while back though

Oops

I thought you were talking to me

Maybe I'll just go back to those invisible FlxObjects like before

With twice or triple thickness

setting the separation_bias to 12 or 15 didnt helped?

nope

I have a plan for wall color effect

Like wall spreading color of the ball

It kinda needs collision between the ball and wall tiles

Hey guys does anybody know if there's a way I can check if an array has an index in Haxe? (e.g. if array[2] exists). I tried with a try-catch but it's not really good practice and it also doesn't work on some targets.

if (array[2] != null)

?

maybe

array.length > 2?
