07/30/2026, 5:15 PMgtmq_ prefix only shows up if "CI Settings" is enabled, but this has a nasty side effect of marking all PRs as CLOSED instead of MERGED.
Which is not an acceptable compromiseChris Bowie

What I suggest is to turn on CI Settings (Graphite needs BPR bypass) so Parallel CI runs on draft PRs: *https://graphite.com/docs/merge-queue-optimizations#how-running-ci-in-parallel-works*.

10/28/2026, 2:18 PMPR Gate
PR Gate automatically gets set to sucess based on some github actions if the branch doesn't have a gtmq_ prefix. (So graphite says its ready to merge)
But another workflow triggers a set of tests on branches with gtmq_ prefix, which upon all success, eventually marks PR Gate as success.Jason MacDonald
