is there a way to restack a PR/stack from the UI? or do I have to ask an agent or do it locally?

if Graphite marks the stack out of date, you should get Update stack (or Restack) on the PR page; you don’t need an agent. If you’re conflicted or don’t see that, do it locally with

gt restack

then submit: *https://graphite.com/docs/restack-branches*

On the PR page, check the merge box (right side) for Update stack, or the ⋯ menu for Restack. If you don’t see either, fall back to local

I don’t see the button to restack and never have. Why might that be? We can ofc restack locally, but it would be a lot more convenient many times to have a button

There’s no account setting for an always-on Restack button. A UI update can show when Graphite marks a stacked PR out of date (look for Update stack in the merge box). Otherwise local

gt restack

3w old, no conflicts and no button to Restack in the UI. I have literally never seen such a button after 1000s of PRs. I know we can restack locally, but that isn’t the point. If there is some setting we need to change, I would be more than happy to make the change, but I don’t know what to do
