hey team, running into an issue with graphite cli version 1.8.6 where i can't
gt co
/
gt sync
/
gt submit
without running into a
JavaScript heap out of memory
error šŸ˜ž the docs say to try
gt dev cache --clear
, but that also fails (saying it requires at least 1 non-option argument)
what i've tried already: •
git remote prune origin; git gc --prune=now
•
git tag -l | xargs git tag -d
to delete tags • remove any garphite cache files, but there are none when i
ls -la .git/ | grep -i graphite
for reference, i had ~10k refs, bucketed under the following:
even without the tags, and remote refs,
gt co
ran out of memory
not sure if relevant context, but the last command i successfully did was
gt reorder
c
I’d try
gt init --reset
in that repo (resets Graphite/PR metadata; you may need to re-track stacks). If
gt co
still OOMs, a fresh clone +
gt init
āœ… 1
j
gt init --reset
works; i'll retrack the stacks and see if it still ooms
thank you @Chris Bowie šŸ™

No problem! Let me know if it pops back up!
