hey guys, running into a weird issue where we can't use automations because we need to upgrade our plan - but we're already on the Team plan (and if I click upgrade it takes me to the starter plan on Stripe). Also, it says that our upcoming invoice should have one more seat than we actually have active. How do we get this resolved?
mergeability checks disabled too because "not on a paid core plan" even though we are -- so something got disconnected on our account from Stripe billing gh: creativeatx workspace: Monto

So sorry for the trouble here! Something is certainly funky, we're taking a look. On the extra seat, if someone that isn't part of your Graphite team has their PRs reviewed by Graphite's AI reviewer, it incurs an additional charge. You can configure this to only run on people with Graphite accounts by going to your AI page (hit G then R) then go to settings. In the meantime, I went ahead and remove that AI Reviewer charge on your upcoming invoice.
r
thanks Connor! it's actually already set to only accounts. so some bugs in the billing settings it looks like
c
Got it! There wasn't actually a pending charge when I disabled it, but it did show up as an additional seat. So while it's confusing, I don't think it would've charged you. Happy to refund you if I'm wrong, of course 😅
In any case we're investigating the oddities with the "Graphite Core" messaging and your access getting blocked to certain features. Apologies again for the trouble.
r
np - thx!
c
Ok! We have a fix for the messaging issue landing soon. The real issue here is that because you're a read-only account, you can't actually change these settings. So the bug was that you're seeing the "Graphite core" messaging, but read-only accounts are only meant to view PRs, not change settings for the account.
r
ah interesting. I was thinking it was more of a non-paid billing admin. maybe that's what you're fixing now? Just bumped our devs to admin too since they couldn't edit the settings either
c
Unfortunately not — we're just fixing the messaging you're seeing so it doesn't reference "Graphite core" (which doesn't exist). I agree that a non-paying admin seat would be ideal, but we haven't wired that up I'm afraid.
r
gotcha. yeah recommend setting that up so that the business admin can change billing and settings and the dev admins can change just settings (right now requires full admin access for devs OR I have to change my settings to billable even though I'm not writing any code)

that would align more with Cursor's settings too
c
We're planning to mirror Cursor's settings entirely in the next few months, so this'll likely be coming soon(ish)!
