03/10/2026, 2:16 PMHi, i have the same repo cloned in 2 folders with the same graphite account ... i want to position each folder in a seperate layer and be able to do actions on it independently, this worked fina when i copied folder A to folder B , i see my stacks , did the sync etc ... but then i did some work on folder A and submitted it ... when i do gt sync in folder B i dont see that new layer in there ... how can i sync the stacks and layers of the 2 fiolders please ?

03/10/2026, 4:51 PMHey Feres, unfortunately there isnt a way to support syncing across these 2 folders as they would each contain their own graphite metadata, and we cant point to another path. I think what youre actually looking for is git worktrees, whereby you have a single clone and mutliple working directores.
