My PR is stuck on `This pull request is currently starting the merge process.` How do I fix this ? It is approved, and checks have run as well.

hey Gajraj, could you please use the `Send feedback` option from in the Graphite app's Help menu from the PR that is stuck (shortcut is `G` then `F`) . That will provide us with more information and logs for debugging on our end, thanks!

we can see that even though CI is passing GitHub is blocking the merge. This is typically due to branch protection rules/rulesets in the repo preventing it


from github UI it is green on squash and merge

for now as a workaround you can <https://graphite.com/docs/merge-stack-prs-github|follow the procedure her>e for manually merging stacked PRs (note that after each merge in GitHub you must run `gt sync &amp;&amp; gt submit` to update the stack in Graphite so it knows the merge happened).
