seems like it might be OK to just

git rebase --autostash --onto origin/release HEAD~1

but not sure how graphite would respond

alright so to move a branch to a different trunk: •

would be awesome if i could do this with less steps though 😇

this is one of those situations where it might have been easier without graphite given that i was mostly appeasing graphite with

gt init

and

gt track
