Graphite web question. • Part of our release process is making a
staging
branch (which itself points at our
release
branch) • We then tend to do a round of testing and make PRs pointed at
staging
• When in this "mode", I do
gt init --trunk
and set it to
staging
, then make my fix PRs • I cannot see a way to merge my fix PRs into
staging
in Graphite web — only a
Merge 2
button. Am I missing something or is this staging/release flow just incompatible with Graphite web at the moment?

We're working on updates to the multi-trunk workflow that will make this a lot easier! cc @Taksh Singh
Currently we don't support this very well, but it's something we're working on this cycle :')

Wonderful. Same use-case is common for "integration branches"

Had the same question, using multiple integration branches so
gt init --trunk
does not work as well for me. Is this not really supported in the CLI either at the moment?
I have been just merging PRs into the integration branch using github, but then it's a bit of an awkward dance to
gt fold
each branch into the integration branch after merging from github, creates extra commits, and generally feels like I'm doing something wrong. If there were an option like
gt fold --merge
to merge a single open PR into its parent PR, that would work perfectly for me I think.
