We do have plans to start surfacing hook output more consistently. There isn't currently a way to do so, one workaround could be to manually run hooks and then use `--no-verify` on graphite commands, although I understand that this is not a convenient solution.

Roughly, our support for hooks would ship by the spring.

How does your `pre-push` hook work — do you check out the branch being pushed to run tests and then return to the current branch?

The `pre-push` hook is run using <https://typicode.github.io/husky/|husky>. It runs on the branch being pushed and stays on that branch afterwards
