Is there a way to auto-ignore any files with certain paths? We have a lot of autogenerated code that would be nice to never see 🙂

Doesn’t Graphite respect the
.gitignore
file? Personally I haven’t had issues with this

I haven't looked into this path, but these generated files are checked into our repo, so we can't have them Git ignored (as of right now)

I’m not sure what you mean here, I’m of the opinion that generated files do not belong in version control. Though with git it is possible to mark a file as ‘never changed’

I can look further into if we actually need them, but I think there would be some reasons that we want them in VC over generated locally. It's probably similar to how you could generate a lock file for many package managers and would likely want to check that in.

If you need help with this, or a sounding board, I’m happy to help
My last two cents, if you need these files in production. Then generating them can be part of the deploy process. We do this at my company
