I’m not sure if it’s possible in the cli, but can you change the trunk branch in the PR webview? Couldn’t find it, so I used the Github UI to do it

Hmm can you clarify? Are you wanting to rebase a branch onto a different trunk, or is the branch already based on a trunk branch but the web app is showing the incorrect trunk?

In Github you can target the PR to a different branch. Say the PR targets the develop branch at first. But needs to go to production, in the Github UI you can select a new target branch.

Got it - I believe you would

gt move

the branch onto

production

, and then re-submit with

gt submit

Seems logical. Though I was just using the UI for the PR. “Normal” branch otherwise, no Graphite.

Oh got it! Yeah it would definitely be cool to be able to rebase/change target from the web UI, but it isn't something that we've prioritized

That’s totally fine, it’s a nice to have. Easy enough to go back to Github for this
