is there a way to
gt split --hunk
but without the
git add --patch
interface? I'd just want to start
gt split
, stage all the hunks I want to split off myself, and then
gt continue
or something. I much prefer
tig
as an interface to stage hunks

One way — you can use
tig
to split into commits, and then use
gt split --commit
(afterwards you may need to restack if there were upstack changes)
We do plan on migrating to a better interactive interface for splitting in the future.
