can you write up exactly what events should trigger the tickets moving in JIRA?

the short answer is "you should probably hook into GitHub Actions, they have a lot of hooks to choose from"

we do not specifically integrate with JIRA, but it's likely there might be GitHub <-> JIRA solutions and since Graphite sits on top of GitHub those should more or less work
