I'm not seeing the dev environment when I do so. I can run

git checkout dev

and go to that branch, but then even if I initialize graphite to use dev as its trunk, I can't see the changes from the old branch.

are you trying to move existing descendants of

main

onto

dev

? i don’t know if there’s a specific command for moving all descendants in one go - but if you’re already on an existing descendant, you can use

gt move dev

to move to it to dev

I needed to checkout

dev

then

gt track

to have it associated with the main trunk.
