Did a quick search and I didn't find anything regarding the situation I'm in. I have 2 new branches I want to submit but they were created off a merged branch. I've already done a

gt restack

and

gt sync

doesn't do anything to get me out of this state.

gt submit

yells at me to do a

gt sync

. Any suggestions here?

we currently only delete branches merged into trunk in sync. you can delete the merged branch via

gt delete

or the extension and graphite will automatically restack the two children. we're looking into changing sync to look at all branches instead of doing this tree search
